If you’re new to the site, let me assure you, you’ve come to the right place when it comes to “straight golf” and straight talk about the golf swing. I am PGA Master Professional Don Trahan, also known as “The Swing Surgeon.” Most of my students just call me “Surge.” And I want to help you become the golfer you know you can be. If you’ve been around the game awhile, you’ve heard any number of golf “gurus” promise all sorts of things on the Internet, on TV, and in golf publications. “An extra 30 yards off the tee!” “A birdie on every hole.” “20 strokes off your handicap!” It seems you’ve been promised just about everything except tickets to The Masters. Well, I promise not to make those kinds of “promises.” I don’t know your athletic ability, your physical condition or limitations. What I do know, because you’re here, is that you want to improve your game and lower your scores. I will say that if you are serious about learning the “Surge Swing” you will notice immediate improvement, regardless of whether you’re a scratch golfer or a high handicapper. You’ll be hitting the ball straighter and farther in no time.
